Not any Earth shaking news here just the story of 3 Hambers who decide to do some good old country horse trading. My buddy John (ProtoTypeDesignFlauz on the Hamb) and me decided to trade junk. He got the 27 T coupster 50's hot rod jalopy project and I got his 52 Chevy 1/2 ton pickup truck. My partner in crime Dick (cuzzindeke on the hamb) was along for the ride as well. We looked the vehicles over, kicked the tires and swapped titles. Then we stopped by NoSurf's farm which was only 1 mile away before heading to town for lunch. It was a good day. Here are the photos.
And a photo of me and John . I forgot to take photos at Jay's (NoSurf) but he had some flatheads apart in his shop and a 46 Ford big truck project he was working on.
I don't give him enough credit but Cuzzin Deke helps bankroll some of my misadventures when I buy too many vehicles and run out of money sometimes. My banker, you might say. God, I hope he never runs out of money!
Heh. I love it. A very good friend of mine and I share an Idea for a 1 panel Comic. It is 2 guys exchanging titles, and behind both of them is a "thought bubble". inside both bubbles is one word. "Sucker." Yay.
I love a good trade. When both parties think the other got screwed, It's Perfect! Looks like both of you came out good on that one although I would have to lean toward the T.
The term "tradin' horse shit for manure" comes to mind.... Sounds like everyone's happy and that's all that really matters.
No, Jay didn't go with us to lunch. In fact I think we woke him up. Poor boy looked tired or something.
