The saga continues, and we decided it was time to enjoy a little of the 'ol warmin' the sneakers up just a bit, because we REALLY want to make "MOTOR SPEEDWAY" in July!
    And because fire+noise+smoke=cool...:p

It's a '69 466, D0VE Iron heads, with as much port work as you can do before the become see through. Stock crank, but balanced rotating assembly, C.J. rods, ARP throughout...just about 11:1 ( it was a street motor...) It has a single idler gear drive, an 8 qt. pan, The headers are 2 1/8" primary kit from Stahl that I completely reworked in my own vision. Cam is a Crane grind, .563/.583 lift, 246/256 @ .050, Any more and we'd be beyond what the heads will support, and its a solid flat-tappet.
3/8" studs, Harland Sharp Rockers, that big honkin' Weiand T-ram, with two Holly 600 dbbl pumpers on top, on wood 1/4" spacers. MSD ignition.
The squirters were WAY too small, so we needed to drill them out, when you get into the secondaries, it just gasped...but these were street carbs. They are actually # 37 now...its seems pretty happy.
The trans is a TH400, w/ brake, 8" 4800 ATI converter, with an ultra-bell, and an ATI flexplate, the entire rear is Moser components...really simple stuff, honestly...
