    Ok about 150 miles more road testing done . So far so good for the prototype now to make one that folds down . I studied several at the nationals

    Well I’m back at it again. I wasn’t quite happy with the roof I made it was ok but just not what I wanted. I found a convertible roof frame on Craigslist off a triumph. After taking all the measurements it was within inches of fitting so I bought it . I made a few modifications ( a bottom rail and a new front bow )and now it fits my car folds down and picks off fully removable. Now where the canvas would attach would be wood , but I tried something new I used pvc molding from Home Depot it’s very flexible and should hold the staples to hold on the fabric as an original frame would .Now all I have to do is put on the waterproof canvas I got and cut in the back window.[​IMG]

    I had a free hour today so I’ve got the back part of the canvas on , the top os next.

    If you did it yourself then it is the best. That's what I think.
