Home made c-cab....

    Well I guess I'll post my build here... Here a home made C-cab I been building... I will fast forward the bild a little at a time.. I have a lot of pictures as I go.. Hope y'all will enjoy it..

    The Pizza wagon is what Got me into the C-cab build... I always wanted to build one.. I was going to build the pizza wagon and Everyone said Randy make it your own.. So here we go...:)


    That's my son having a little fun.. I built it out of wood.. Because at first I was going to make a buck to build it out of glass,, But decided to do steel.. So I now had my patten's..

    Now it was time to build the frame...The frame is 2''x4'' tubing cut down to three at the front end..

    Slick, JD Fikes out of Waco built one out of wood in the 70's that didn't have the Ccab roofline but was minus the doors like yours and ran a Ford cowl with a wood body. That thing was a thrill ride going over overpasses at speed with no doors. I ended up with the body for a while after he put a 27 roadster body on it with a turtle deck made from the back end of a 55 chevy and caused a ruckus at the 75 Street Rod Nationals.

    You are doing a nice looking job on that frame.

    Thanks Man..Sound's like a nice one.. It has been a fun build so far.. I took it to get the weight on it one day and people was running off the road and passing on the side of the shoulder to see what the he$$ it was.. It was very funny to see how they acted... More coming a little later..Thanks Randy

    Thanks.. I was starting to wonder if I should post it here.. I like the site so far... There is so much on this site for people to learn from.. Glade to be a part of it.. Back to the shop.. My wife is on my a$$ to get ready for tonight.. I will sneak a few and as much as I can tonight..Thanks again..Randy

    Thanks guy's... Fred Good to hear from you again too.. The C-cab has been on hold for a while now... I started doing the body work on it then stopped for a while to get some builds out the way.... But I should be back on it soon... I stopped posting on some of the web site's I was on.. To much BS.. So I decided to stop in here.. Always wanted to post my builds here and believed to much BS I heard about this site.. So far It way better then I heard... So now I'm here.
    And hope everyone don't mine me being here.. Again..Great to here from you fred..Hope you been Ok..Randy

    Made the headlight stands.. I machined two little stand's to weld on top of the stands for the light's to sit on..
