    well it is almost time for me to start fabbing up a bed for the 40 whatzit and was hoping some of the fabricators here could show me some stuff they have done so i can get some ideas

    It is simple but it gets the job done. 16g steel... Heavy too, and a bugger to bend.

    Bought this truck as a flat bed. Couldnt find a bed so bought some fenders and made a bed.

    Here is a bed we built for a customer in the mid '80s. Ignore the "politically incorrect" name. That was the owners idea.

    The thing I thought you might like is that we eliminated the need for a tailgate, by sloping the bed rails down, then across. You could easily load and unload the bed.

    If i were to build one id put a nice hardwood floor in it. just a suggestion :)
