Last weekend, my buddy forwarded this to me and asked if it was real or Photoshopped. If it's real, someone spent a lot of time cutting up a nice 57 Belair. What do you think?
Hopefully, it's leftovers from other cars. There's been lots weirder stuff than that on here, plus there are no visible skulls, rust, or spider related items ...
Well hell yeah it's real !!!! Stellar too !! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/my-showrod-build-thread-the-57-t.853626/#post-9434882 Yeeeeha !!
I would assume that there are not factory parts in that rod. I have seen several trikes as well as one two wheel motorcycle like this and they were not original. Not a bad looking rig, if you like that stuff...
...................It's a real '57 4-door cut down to 42" wide. See the build thread link that kidcampbell71 posted above.
A definite ''conversational'' piece!....he nailed that fact big-time!----If I saw that on the road, I would look more than a 'double take' to be sure....I think it's actually kinda cool.
Love my 57, might do this a bit different, but cant say that I hate it. Seeing what was used to make it, looks like that was the best use of it as well. far better than making a couch
And this is what happens to roached out Fords- New life! resurrected from a Rhode Island junk yard. More pics on the "Customs from Junk" Thread
Damn don't hold back how you really feel. you cant tip your hat to the man for his craftsmanship & imagination?
Pic from a recent show we attended... Yes this one is rroddy, but it's the wagon version so I had to share. Edit: Didn't take the pic, just attended the show. Credit to the photographer is on the photo.
