I picked up an old holley in a trade the other day. It has a list # 6619-1, right below the list # there is another # 0845.

What does the 0845 indicate ? Thanks

  2. Ya know I have been fiddling with Holley carbs for a long time and have never known what the second number means, I'll bet it has something to do with manufacture date or something like that. Like maybe a run number so it can be recalled if need be?

Holley four digit date code. First three = day of year. Last=year. Year codes repete. So something like 1961, 1071, 1981, etc. would use the same last digit. The info is out there is you want to pin it down.

    The 5 year code could be 1965, 1975, 1985, 1995.
