Ok, I have a list # of 9219 2021. I know it's a 4160 model. Can someone tell me all the specifics on this or where I can find the info? I have looked on all the websites and have found nothing. Would like to rebuild, but need info. Thanks

  2. It's a 600cfm 4160 (as you know)....the Renew Kit is 37-1536 and the Trick Kit is 37-933 (Holley numbers).

It originally used a .031 pump nozzle; a black sec. spring; and a secondary plate with .073 main holes/.029 idle holes, if you want to check for modifications.

    1887

Does anyone know anything about this carb?

    -------------------
Actually on model 3310 Holleys using either the
750 or 780 rating is correct and depends on what
you want to call it. The original 4150-series (ie-
with the secondary metering 'block') "List 3310AAS"
carb was an OEM Chevy carb used on 375-HP 396
Chevelles and Holley rated it at 780 cfm. Later
when Holley came out with aftermarket versions of
the carb - both in 4150-series versions and the
cheaper 4160-series (ie - with a secondary metering
'plate') they were still rated at 780 cfm in the earlier
catalogs and then, in later catalogs at 750 cfm.
However the carbs never changed - the early and later
versions (both 4150 and 4160 versions) flow *exactly
    the same*
and the *supposed* 30 cfm reduction in
airflow rating was merely done for marketing reasons
    - to simplify cataloging and to make carb better fit into
the Holley line of carbs in nice even 50 cfm increments.

They are different. I have both carbs. First ones rated at 780 had downleg boosters. 750 ones have straight boosters. Downleg boosters restrict the airflow less, thus the different rating.

My 1978 Holley Illustrated Parts&Specs Manual lists it for 1967-68 Comet, Cougar, Mustang and Fairlane 390 engines.

I just got a 1982 holley book...shows the 3796-1 is the 1968 version of the 390 auto trans carb used on mustang/fairlane/cougar/comet

Neat book, has more numbers in it than I can shake a stick at

I've been searching today to find out what CFM my Holley is.

I found out the carb is from a 65 Chevelle HP 327 #3043 595 CFM.

I called the Holley Tech line. The guy was really helpful.

Please help identify an old Holley four-barrel. It's a square bore with 1-7/16" bores. On the left side of the air horn is stamped "124." On the right side, the first line reads, "C1TLE 9510-AN." The second line reads, "LIST 2349."

I've been to a dozen or so sites trying to find that LIST number, but I've had no luck.

I'd like to know the common-usage model number and the CFM.

    Thanks.

  17. Hey fellas, I got a stumper I can't find these carbs in the book or site. They are on a tunnel ram, single feed like a 1850 600 cfm. The only two numbers are
    5776
    0276
same on both and the front bowl on the carb says Holley since 1930 or something like that.
    thanks

Yours sounds like a Ford Holley carb with those numbers.

    Are you sure it's List-5776???? I know a 4776 and that is a 600 double pumper carb...

  21. I called the Holley tech line and he thinks the first number is a 9. The funny thing is that I was reading one carb while another guy (Fullfendered) was reading the other, we both thought either 5 or an S. The tech said that they would be 450 tunnel ram carbs which sounds right, not that it's worth anything but they are on an Offenhauser tunnel ram.

    thanks for the help though

What model Holley (?) is that wacky round 4bbl carb that is a spreadbore design, but the bores are REALLY far apart? Something like a TQ replacement carb? I know it was a small CFM, like 450 or so. Maybe good for a slant six? No mistaking when you see one, its like "WTF is that?"

PS>> Holley economaster "baby quadrajet"..Any good or just wacky?

    4150-G
    1961 Ford Trk., 312 Eng.
    From this site, http://www.tocmp.com/manuals/Carbs/Holley/MasterList/index18.html.

  27. That would be a 302 engine designation-Not a 312-missprint

No 312 engines were ever installed into trucks from the factory.

Yeah, my mistake. I kinda thought so. No 302s in '61 either.
