Just simply too damn cool!
LOVE IT!!! Subscribed for updates!!
great find--as stated by many the 57 unit with a 905 dist is big bucks--the 61 4900R is a more drivable unit. Should be able to get serious $$ from the 57 unit--is it a 4800 or the earlier variation.
What a killer find! In my opinion the best looking Vette model ever! Keep us updated.
I saw that car on CL. The price wasn't out of line. Nice job rescuing it.
congrats Bob now you got your straight axle vette
Are you going to make it to Cavalcade this week? I hope to go Friday and hopefully see your Vette there!
Heading to Cincinatti Cavelcade of Customs. 50 miles west of Indy with ice & snow covered roads, maybe the state snow plow drivers called in sick? Interstate 74 west of Indy worst I have seen it in 30 yrs.
If you at Josh Shaw's "Survivors Alley" stop & say hi. I will have a display against the wall of American Rebel wheels, aluminum club plaques & a few 6x2 intakes with Stromberg 97 carbs.
nice find! they're still out there....
Nice find, I love the period paint. That car would be 300% less cool and interesting restored. The odd ball survivor custom 'vettes make me want one.
I'll stop by and say howdy on Friday Bob.
Just saw this...congrats Bob.
Just saw this Vette listed on auction site??
It sure is, right here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-C...9e783d78b&item=111258359691&pt=US_Cars_Trucks

EVERYONE"S favorite year vette!!( well o.k. , maybe not everyone)But I am awestruck. Clean it and DRIVE IT. You now own a major part of automotive history;congratulatios and best of luck with your find.Did I say HOLY CRAP yet?? Mike from Mass.

Stopped by the car at Cavalcade a couple times didn't get to talk to ya Bob.
The car was even more COOL in person! My brother had the 50 olds 88 across the isle from ya.
