imported into the uk in 1984 from south africa, very good condition.

My dad had one of these back in 1963. Column change 1600cc no syncro on 1st gear and drum brakes. Went for years

  3. drop it in the weeds......pan scraping ......and chop it with 2 doors

  4. Some old artwork I did years ago, based on this cars cousin, the Humber Sceptre. Would work on this too.

nice artwork ... I always liked the Consul Capri ... when I raced at Santa Pod in the Production Division of the B.D.R.A. I was always going up against a guy named Dave Topham that had 3 or 4 of them.

  12. I have a photo of me 'driving' one of these when I was 2 years old. They come up nice as little mild kemps. Don't chop it- lower, skirts, full cap, whitewall (<2"); voila.

The more I look the more I'm digging those peep mirrors, those would look damn nice on my PA.

Had a '64 Super Minx, back in '75. Just like yours, only blue & white. People usually asked me if it was a Rambler.

  23. Nice survivor car! I always think of the pink 1960 in the movie Help! that they kidnap Ringo in.

That's a nice one. I like James D's ideas on what to do with it.

here's one, on the left, a few years older than yours, but a Hillman.
Stick a 427 Ford in yours, jack it up, big beefed rear end and trans, straight axle and go prowling for street races on a late saturday night like we did...
Both of these were daily drivers...:)
