Starting to think about the next project.
Just curious as to how well, or bad, a Hilborn 4 port injection set up
would work on a mildly blown 6-71 454.
It would have a huge cool factor, but will it work on a car
that spends most of its time on the street instead of the track. ??
    Thanks in advance, BC

Not if it's a mechanical system. But you can easily use one that's set up for EFI.

  3. they make two bore sizes. use the smaller one on the street. the tip in is much better. they also make a tall and short version. a filter is available for street driving. the efi is the way to go.

    Hey B,
The Hilborn Injector Company is our neck of the woods in So Cal. It is about three blocks from our granddaughter's house. In looking at the website, here is something that "Squirrel" mentioned:

They are a So Cal institution and have a great building just off of the 73 freeway. Check them out.

We drive by that place almost weekly and will be stopping soon to get some information on fuel injection story facts.
