I was just curious. It looks to be a early build. Car came from just outside Toronto Canada.

It looks familiar as in possibly it showed up in event coverage in a magazine or online a few years ago.
Those have always been a favorite of mine since they were new but I never managed to get my hands on one.

What’s with the plate under the carbs? Never seen that before. Is it a mirror surface to reflect the image of the carbs or polished aluminum to prevent heat transfer, or just there? Just wondering? Oh, also nice car.

It's for preventing manifold heat from reaching the carbs ... but 'ya HAVE TO USE two gaskets for each carb ( one under the plate and one on top ) or IT will become a BOILER as the plate itself will get VERY HOT if it contacts both the manifold and the carbs without the gaskets.....

I was told it was a 312 but i will be cheaking the numbers. It has a four speed, fenton headers and glass packs. Power steering car, but missing the pump and bracket so if anybody has one for sale. Please let me know Thanks Screenshot_20180816-114442_Kijiji.jpeg
