I live near Anamosa, Iowa. Just finishing a 3yr build of a 50' x 70' shop, that will house all of my metal fabricating tools and equipment and cars, trucks and motorcycles that I'm building, working on or have already done. I'm starting to buy old speed equipment, either for my own use or resale. I'm sure I'll learn a lot from this website, but would like to network with guys local to my area. Bumming right now because Torque Fest is this weekend and it is cold and raining. Shit! Aaron
Go anyways, there is a bunch of great hambers there. A good showing of cars too. I will be back in the a.m. stop and say hello.
Well, went to Torque fest Saturday morning. Lucked out and avoided rain all day. Don't think it was as big as past years, especially the swapmeet part, probably due to weather. Still cool as hell though. Aaron
Welcome from Riverside, IA I have lots of family in Monticello and my cousins run Scooters. What are you building? Carmak 57 Cadillac Coupe DeVille 63 Ford Country Sedan wagon
Welcome from WI. Glad to hear you went to Torque Fest despite the weather. I was quite soaked Friday, but had a good time anyway. The people make it great no matter what the weather.
Carmak, would that be Corey and Casey? Anybody going to Camp Couragous car show May 19? I'll be there working with our club, love to see some cool rods.
Welcome from Mitchellville, Ia. Sounds like you have plenty to do. LOL I know what would happen if I had a building that big.
Corey and Casey's dad Darrell is my first cousin. I learned to work on cars and drive in Monti. Carmak
