i just joined this site..im kinnda new to computers but not hot rods. i grew up around performance for a living kinnda people hence the name. i live in a very rural area of south missouri. been a diesel mechanic most of my life and a hotrodder all my life..i have collected many cars over the years and am now retired and want to try to enjoy all that i have worked hard for..i have already started too many projects to ever finish..but dont we all..i have no brand loyality and believe all old cars to be sacred..well thats about all i can think of right now..so let the fun begin......R.C. hey 56...i was just in lakeland awhile ago..got kin down there..right now im working on a 62 galaxie conv. and a shoebox ford that was a old shine car, but needing updating..i closed my shop and am now just wanting to restore a few of the rusty relics i have laying around. i lost my wife to cancer in may so having trouble(she was the brains of the outfit) starting over again..but i will carry on and hopefully will take a trip down old rte.66 this summer in the 51...
So far a big thumbs up for this guy (don't know his first name as of yet) he replied to an ad I had in the wanted section and he's hookin me up with some parts for my project. Thanks again and I hope you enjoy the HAMB.
wow just going through my old posts...this was my first.."what a long strange trip its been" indeed...ha ha ha ha ..love this site..its my second home anymore ...yea the old ford is still in da shop but looking better..just stopped driving the hearse and got a buyer on the flathead engine..so wont be long till i can pull the car trailer and hit the shows with a 6.2 diesel powered hearse tow vehicle....i have sure learned alot over the past 2 years in here.....
