I drug home a T5 out of an 88 s10 and just started pulling it down today to inspect it. The 1-2 shift fork is cracked so that needs to be replaced. Is there any interchangeability with these or do I need one specifically for the S10? The brass block rings are shot for 1st and 2nd gear too so those need to go but where the block rings and gear line up and the sliding gear goes over, there appears to be a little wear on the teeth. Not the actual gear but the teeth that line up with the block ring. Not a lot, and it's on all the gears. Basically they've shined up a little bit from the otherwise dark metal. How much is normal or acceptable? Thanks.

Shift forks should all be the same - likewise for all the brass parts - any NWC T5 synchros should be fine. Probably normal wear on the gears - post pics & we can figure it out better...
