have you chopped your top? If so, i'd love to see the rear portion where the roof "meets" the door. im kinda on a hang-up on mine in that area. Just trying to see some examples so i can clearly think it through.

:p(i learn by example and watching) ;)

    Thanks!

I've got a 4 door fleetmaster (I think) parts car that I'm going to chop the top on just for the experience. What's the main difference between the two?

Mines already chopped. 6 inches up front and 4 at the rear. But being a 4 door I'm hung at the rear portion where the roof meets the door. That area. Hard to explain lol.

    I've never had one.

I was just reading through this thread, and I found it really funny how everyone is asking you questions and giving you advice, even though you've already chopped the car.

    Good luck with it,

Lol it's all good. First time I've chopped a fastback. Second chop in all. First 4 door tho, hence my question. ;)

Yeah, I can imagine a 4-door being a little more involved. Throw up some pics when you get it done.

You might want to post some pics of where you are now, the metal masters might be able to chime in if you show 'em what's up.

    Just a thought.

That 49 looks good. Subtle hair cut. Mines a little more extreme. :) I suppose I like hard work?? Hahaha :p

1946, the difference is the fastback from what I've found by searching.
