  3. My son and I went up Friday also, had a great time. We found it was a lot smaller than other years, we also thought Carlisle was smaller this fall. Guess the old guys are dropping out and the internet is putting a hurting on swap meets. Shame but is was a great day.

I agree same layout ,but there were a lot of empty spots in many of the isles .Still loved it, easier walking then Carlisle and will do It again next year ! Plus there sure we're some nice cars there .Less vendors and more scooter, what's that tell you .Im 70 and blessed that my legs are holding up well and if I couldn't walk I'd be the first to be on a scooter or golf cart .That being said don't know how they would do it but I think they should only allow scooters for people that really need them ,not every Tom,Dick, and Harry that just seems like they wanna get to the next isle before you do ,you know the ones that are riding along the edge of the tables driving one way and looking another .Anyway that's life, hope I didn't offend the guys that need them and don't mind offending the guys who are just to lazy to walk.

local swapmeet is now a " see the guys you don't see all year" event...
    glad to have it...
the value of the new connections I get at a swapmeet always exceeds the $5 to park...

Olscrounger think they were asking $60,000 for the tan 39 convertible ,the blue 35 was at $ 33,900. Think the blue with black fendered modal a pickup was $16,500 I believe

Thanks for the pics. The rain on Thursday sent a lot of vendors home so it would have been smaller on Friday.

Thanks for getting in the shot of my model A "doodlebug" at our spaces. The guys we set up with had the blue '32 pickup. It didn't sell and is still available. It's a B with the 4 banger.

I went yesterday; it’s great to just walk around and look at cars and piles of old parts. One of the coolest things I saw was a restored Muntz Jet in the car corral. What a great looking custom car!

That is still on my bucket list of events to go to. My wife (49 years) is pretty handy at finding someone who offers her the extra chair in their booth and has sat an visited in a number of swap meet booths over the years while I walk around.
I'd agree, the two more local to me seem to be more of a social event than buying expeditions but I did come home with a couple of goodies this year including a 49 Plymouth front bumper for the 48.

Thanks Bigmac! We try to take good quality pre-war Ford parts (mostly model A) each year and sell at reasonable prices. We were surprised the '32 didn't sell. Stop in and say hello next time!

I brought back a few items. Also snagged a Milton garage bell and a tire filling machine that are not in the picture.

50 degrees all day, chilly. Way better than blistering heat.

Maybe it is getting late, or I'm getting older, but for $108,000. you could pay a sign to paint a more attractive notice.

Jay really is a really awesome guy. I never seen him be rude to any of us "common folks". I hope to see him at the spring fling next year...

Went up on Tuesday, set up day but not many people setting up. Sold on Wednesday. Rained on Thursday. Got food poisoning that night and had to go home on Friday AM. Smaller crowds, less vendors but after 35 years attending it's still the best place to find those parts. 2018 was the year of scooters and signs at Hershey. Mantuajohn
