Saturday trailer packing: Not as organized as in years past, bit overcast, just want to get stuff in the trailer, will pack things tight by the end of Sunday. Please stop by C4J39-42 look for the Light post #41. Ted, Mark and Ronnie Roadster are next to me. You can leave stuff here for the day and save the trip to your car/truck. What does your load look like? Bob DSCF7517.JPG

I'm looking forward to my first Hershey! I'll be there Wednesday and Thursday with my old pal Bill. Hunting Bantam parts.

If this is your first HERSHEY then be sure to check out the Race Car Condition Run, held in the stadium on Thursday at 10:30 AM.

Pretty much ready. Don’t forget to check your trailer’s tires and wheel bearings. If yours is like mine, this is typically its only trip of the year. My spare tire was so dry rotted it was scary.
1941-46 Chevy truck parts. Green field, GAI 18-19, or just look for light pole 118.

I use a 1950s Radio Flyer wagon with an extended handle and some pneumatic tires from Harbor Freight for less rolling resistance. People keep trying to buy it from me.

Does anyone know why the swap meet was bumped up a day? We always went on Wed. and Thurs. This year we have to go Tues. and Wed. What's up with that?

  18. I'm leaving at 6:15 tomorrow (Monday) morning. Looking forward to a meet-up with Jeff (5-window) for lunch on Tuesday. We're riding to Hershey in my buddies '39 Ford 4-door "survivor" sedan. Should be an awesome road trip! Stop by C2A-57 and say "hi".

Hershey Park has another event scheduled right after the car stuff, I believe.

Snowman, the first time I went I wasn't looking for any large items either. Lemme tell you, carrying a 5" bench vise all the way back to the parking lot was more of a workout than I expected! And I was younger then, too....

  21. Bob and Doug, hope all goes well with this year's Hershey!

The Dodge is almost home- the shed is in place, the storage unit is empty, and fall break is next week (time to sort boxes and parts and organize the garage)!!!

If either of you sees a '40-47 Hudson hood (automobile) in nice shape, I'm in the hunt for one for the speedster project :D... and I should be in Myerstown around Christmas

Greed. They want to open the park to make more $$ and don't want the trash in the way.

  23. Oh, and I could Paypal or Venmo the money to you (hoping to stay under $150) :D
