Something you don't see everyday (in North America.. infact there's only a few left.)

This is a 1949 Rover 75 belonging to a customer of mine. I consider it "Coogly" because it's cool and ugly all at once. It was hauled of a guys property a month ago. It runs, and is solid but needs finishing. I slapped the WWW and red rims on for a joke (and to move it.. it had 4 dead tires)

The Headlight in the middle is functional (like a tucker) but was not legal in Canada at the time. This is a continental Europe car some one brought in. The interior (in a box) is all teak trimmed and in mint shape.

Thought you'd either get a kick out of it.. or need to get surgery afterwards

    We call it Sy Clops

Looks like a miniature badly customized 49-52 Chrysler product, Granny styling at its best.

I still say that ANY car be made cool with the right wheel/tire combo, stance, paint, and trim removal. And this car would be the perfect candidate to prove it. Got one of those "a face only a mother could love" things going on.

It wasn't lopping off the top that was hard, it was finding another set of doors so I could stretch the doors

I'd strech the doors and make a coupe out of it.

I've only seen one of them in person. For sale about 10 years ago near here for $800.

They were not a cheap car when new. A car for the English middle class, and professional class. Wood and leather interior like a Rolls in miniature.

Engine is an F head 4 cylinder. Overhead intake and side exhaust valves. They used the same engine in the Land Rover.

  25. Love the air cleaner, truly from the school of if a little is good a lot is better. What's the production timeline for these engines ? What is the engine compartment gauge monitoring and is it stock ?

Very cool car, Cyclops cars were early production, and not too common if memory serves. I love it.

It's a 6 cyl.. 75 horses. This is a very early model. The owner ran the numbers, only one older one known and registered (in Belgium I think) The vin says it's #300 or something.

The guage is oil pressure and not stock.. though I like it :) I'd love to paint the air cleaner olive drab and put litt;e crossed out swastikas on it like a bomber. Not sure what we are doing with it yet. I kind of hope we getthe go ahead to make it road worthy.
