Very nice, and built in two pages!!! Love the black on black theme, very subtle. A little front end sheet metal question, I've been toying with mine, modifying inner fenders for headers, and when I put it all back together was very surprised how much it all seems to 'rock' from side to side on the front fender 'yoke'. I cant imagine how i'm ever going to get all those bits to line up with it rocking around like that, am I missing something??

  12. Hi, not about the 40 but about your 55. What size rims and tires are you running? thanks for your time, Don

Damn, that's a nice looking standard! This is one thing I envy you West coast guys on. You have lots more cars that aren't total rust piles to start on. Here in the East, between the liquor runners, the stock cars, and the scrappers, there ain't much left!

Thanks all-this little 40 turned out pretty good and runs strong!! It took my wife and I a few hours to get the front clip and trim aligned and she is glad the hood no longer resides in our master bedroom. It goes to a friend who worked for me for many years--this is his 4th 40 from here-crazy!! At 76 gotta keep busy-39 woody here next for assy. ,ac ,wiring etc-should take maybe 2-3 weeks then find another 40 coupe.

  17. One more question, what steering box is that and it is connected to a factory '40 column?
