Sam, your J looks very killer and is definitely going to be inspiration for others - including mine! :D If you email me a few hi-res pics and info (info you want published), I can submit them to HenryJcars.com for ya. Many others would love to see your build.

Do you have any of the finished photos in a higher resolution so I can really check her out? if so and if you have time, email to [email protected]

Mine will hopefully be a heavy flake Green, but that is so far away, I can't even see straight!

    As for Names:

"Haulin Gass" - because that's what she's going to do!

    Good Luck man!

this weekend got the complete brake line program done all 4 disc calipers plumbed with braid and hard line everywhere, including the line-loc/ b&m. also the starter went on and batt cable from front to back to cut off and the charge posts cut into body and attached. also had to change out the mercruiser deep pan for a moroso race pan to clear linkage and it worked out great. had to move radiator forwad an inch to clear a fan and w/p elec drive. all is well there. all in all it was a great weekend with lots done. only have one pic for now ... here ya go ...

I'm looking for pics of a cross steering box set up on a straight axle Henry J that still has the stock frame.

By the way, there's already a HJ out there called "Smokin J".

Just stumbled across this project. What a treat. I was always a big fan of the Henry J's, as there were a few that frequented Irwindale

Reminder: We have a Henry J site here under Community/Social Groups. It would be great to get more HJ folks together.

this weekend catman and i got the fuel lines all made for the injection set up, that was interesting, hehe... got the water pump drive installed, a fuel filter holder to mt on the radiator. and the elec fan mounted , certainly getting busy in the front end. still have to mount a elec fuel pump for gas and a small tank for gas to prime it with. moved inside and got the front tin work all made and clecoed in place including the tunnel. been 100 degrees for the whole weekend and the next 7 days is the same so i gotta just stay after it. still trying to wire n fire in two weeks, and race as well by the 28th of this month ...enjoy the pics more to come

also need a name for it not sure yet what to call it.... will be at ardomroe for the gasser wars and hopefully at the valley in a few weeks to test... now its down hill ....i have another thread on here to this point henry j race car project...[/QUOTE]
How about calling it "Rang Shod". I had a 33 Plymouth coupe back in the 60's that ran B/Comp. and that was the name on it when we bought it. I always liked that name. I have no idea what it means.
