hey, fellas need a Stromberg guru to hopefully same me a BUNCH of time .I have a basically stock 354 hemi (mild cam)everything else is stock, and I have an intake with 6 Stromberg 97's and would like to know what size jets to start with.Blocking off a couple is not out of the question, but I'd rather not thanks
get a air fuel gauge in the car. everything else is a guess at best. its the only no b.s. way to do it with any kind of accuracy. i ran eight of them on my street strip hemi for years.
I have built lots of Hemi multi Stromberg set-ups. I found that putting .050 jets in all 6 Strombergs and get jet adjusters to dial them in. The adjusters save you the time and extra jets..I would start with the adjusters about a half turn out and go from there.. Have fun it will run great.. Duane..
What are jet adjusters, I am not understanding how they function I have a 392 with six 97s and would like to run it on the street with all six functioning. Thanks MickeyC
I see, is the end of the threaded piece have a sharp tapered point that actually closes off a portion of the orifice in the jet to reduce or increase flow rate? How do they achieve variance?
