Projects hemi water crossovers- whatcha got because this sucks.

  5. Glad you stuck with it, will they be aluminum or cast iron ? Hard to tell by the photo.

    Performed surgery on the stock unit on my Red Ram 241. One e the crossover was separated from the water pump assembly I had it chemical stripped and bead blasted. Got the cast iron really clean. Had the bottom below the T stat housing brazed and here you have it. No worries since the crossover is not under pressure. B43A916B-E20D-407E-8F90-8D9BF9A36C86.jpeg

    Why do you say that it's not under pressure, I don't understand? I thought the whole system was under pressure.

    Not that you're well executed surgery on the crossover couldn't withstand some pressure. I'm sure it could.

    I am running the stock crossover on the 354 in my avatar. Have had no problems in the 15 years I have had it on the road. I am using a 180° Chevy thermostat and it is still performing well to this day.
