Technical Hemi tech? Question?

I apologize in advance, I tried some searches in the hemi tech stuff but came up empty. Or maybe I'm just not that good at it. I need rods for my 54 331, and know where a set of 354 rods are. My question is are the crank journal sizes the same? Can I use them? If not what is my best option for rods? My crank needs to be turned, lightly, does that buy me anymore options?

Should have said interchange, there may be minor differentces, but they'll work.

There are 2 different casting numbers of 331 and 354 rods. They interchange.

Hey, barett, try Jerry Koch in San Antonio, cell 210-213-2724. He is very knowledgeable about early Hemis.

Those are forged steel rods but I'd have them magged and rebuilt with new bolts. There is a Pontiac rod that will work also, with mods.
