Did a search and came up with no numbers, How many Weiand Dragstar 8x2 intake WC8 were made and year for the Chrysler Hemi or other manufactures?
this is the only thing I found and I have an advertisement for 80$ that won't let me post from weiand.
How about a Cragar Octogasser, like Garlits used? We found one at CT swapmeet in the 80s, think it is still around seacoast NH. It is individual pieces, not one piece. See thread http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=405698&page=3
I had a Cragar octogasser at Hershey in the80's . Sold it to Don Garlits for his museum. He said it would replace the one he let get away, back in the day. Jim Lytle also had the octo on his yellow '32 cpe. They are the only two I ever saw.
maybe I should call and see if it is still around. I remember buying it at swapmeet in Terryville, CT, mid-80s. Was in a cardboard box under the table, not even displayed. I always like to paw through boxes of junk. I remember the guy took $20 for it. Gave it to a machinist that did some work on our altered as he was into hemi's. He has since passed away but I think most of his shop is still intact as his widow and son still live in the house.
