Customs Helping a Friend 66 Econoline Steering box

Hey Guys,

I've been searching high and low for a steering box for a buddy's 66 Econoline Van steering box after his bearings exploded and destroyed his worm gear and nut. Any leads? Conversions? Ideas? I saw another member was so graciously helped by another member having a parts car and I'm hoping to get as lucky. His van is a daily driver and we aren't discouraged by doing a conversion. Just don't quite know where to start. Thanks guys, any notes are greatly appreciated.

I sold one to a guy that broke down in Springfield. since that time I have acquired another old van. don't know the cond of the steering sector . where are you located.
