I've got a truck bell housing and a Y Block block. Is this how they are supposed to match up or is something wrong? Don't know if there's diff years or configuration of block. Where clutch slave cyl mounts looks like it matches up strange

  2. Not a precise answer but I think that tab is supposed to sit proud of the block. Are the 4 main mounting bolts and the dowel lining up?

Yep that's correct. Tab is for the hydraulic slave cylinder for the clutch.
