I've got a bearing here, and I need another one. None of my local guys are able to cross it. It's a tapered roller bearing, Timken part number 17097(no letters on either end of the number). If someone could find me an application for it, that'd be great. Crossing to another brand would be helpfull too. Thanks.
got some dimensions? a picture or 2 would be help. i found nothing on the timken site. my local guys can cross reference bearing given dimensions 99% of the time.
My old (1983) timken roller bearing catalog lists dimensions for a 17098, but not the 17097. Oh well, I tried. Tom
