Im trying to weld a nut to my axle perch that i welded a steel plate to, to box of that side. Its for the shock mounts. The stock rear had the mounts to the perch but im swaping it for an 8 3/4 rear. I wanted to use the same idea, but im having a hard time trying to measure where to cut for the nut to fit flat and level. Any ideas? Thanks.
Use a longer bung, drill a hole through the new filler piece at the correct angle, insert bung, weld.
