32 to 36 are not the same axle. It looks like a 32 heavy axle, but the drums are 36 to 39 wide five

In the second pic, it looks like it took a pretty hard hit.

in one picture the bosses look wide apart, and in another they look close, very odd.

Get the seller to send you a better picture of the FRONT of the axle at the spring perch hole. If it is shaped like the end of an I-beam, its a 32. Does not look like it is from the pictures furnished. Drums are wide 5. 32 heavy and 36 axles will never be the same.

The spindles look Model A to me, with bolt-on steering arms.

And the way the perch bosses stand pround of the beam looks Model A too. Ask him what the thickness is at the perch boss holes: 2-1/4" would make it Model A (or '37-'41 as well), and 2" would make it '32-'36. It's definitely not a '32 heavy, and with the short ends, my bet would be '37-'41.

Don't know about the drums - they sort of look like wide-5 bolt pattern, but not wide enough? I wonder if it's an English Ford axle, E83W or something?

No it is not a 32 heavy axle. In the second picture you can clearly see the boss around the spring perch hole. Look at the above 32 axle pic. to see that this area is recessed on the desired 32 axle.

Listen to this man. Not a heavy '32.

Although I cannot offer anything regarding proper I.D. of the axle, I would also say, be a bit "wary." The seller has no earlier sales, no feedback, no additional ratings/rankings or information, and has only been a seller since December.

I know we all have to start somewhere. . .but I'd say, "Caveat emptor." FWIW.

X2..and the drums look to be 37-39 with the shorter snout, with the drum mounted on the wrong side of the hub.
