First question is what is the rim width of a set of 16" 1935 ford wires? I bought a set and haven't received them yet, and I am trying to buy tires this morning before the 6% increase. I would like to put firestone blackwall 450/475-16 on the front with 700-16 on the rear. Are these sizes ok for the rims? Thanks in advance.

Yea, that your standard hot rod size, Some guys use the 5.00-16 instead of the 4.50-16 but both work and look great.

  4. the rims are 4" wide , i'm not sure how big a tire you an out in one...better check with Coker on that

I did the 'Stone blackwalls on my 35 wires. Used the 450/475 up front and the 7.50's on the rear. Looks GREAT!!!

Here's a link to the thread I started when I was tryin to decide. Lots of good pics posted by other owners to help you.
