    Looking for help on A) Rebuilding mine. B) Buying one done and if needed shipping mine as a core.

  4. Best bet, cultivate a relationship with your local auto-electric shop. I have never had one let me down when I needed something. I am on my 4th one in 45 years, previous ones have gone out of business or the owners have died.

    Food for thought, I replaced the on my 56 324 with a new, mini-torque starter. Spins the motor over much better than the original, even after it was rebuilt.
