Does anybody know what kind of rear end this is and what it is out of. Bought it at a junk yard to use in my hot rod because It looks cool. I believe it's out of a 50s Buick or Oldsmobile. Anybody know for sure? Thanks ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1369585017.484699.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1369585030.782250.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1369585040.048994.jpg

Does it have a bolt-on rear cover?

  7. Looks to be an Olds. If its a 57-64 Olds and a Posi, sell it and buy several 9" rears, highly sought after. Take a pics from the front showing the whole pumpkin if you can.

My guess would be 1961-64 full size Buick. Perches were probably added and there aught to be evidence of other brackets on the housing.

  10. Thats why I asked for a dead on front shot. Buicks are more oval kind of like an 8" ford where olds is round.
