I'm loving this thread. I'm building a 50 Chrysler. These photoshops are awesome keep them coming!
I plan on chopping mine and keeping the visor (probably make it shorter though)
Just in time to motivate my lazy ass to get working too!

i would play with hub caps lower it alittle. yank the visor and add skirts. i also think maybe putting a little bigger tire would fill up the wheel wells better and give an over all better look. but i also know nothing

I like James D's version the most so far-

But I also have to agree with 29Nash-
Just drive it, seeing that on the road would be cool enough I think!

I think James D nailed it.
lowered, skirts, wheels and tires and the trim changes he shows would be an improvement even if you werent ready to do the chop top etc. but the body mods and chop would make it complete.

No way i'd change a thing on that car..it's great just as it is.
Seriously, it look's like a nice, clean stocker...But lift the hood and it's a whole different world. It's already done.

Zing!! This is Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the inspiration. As I stated earlier, the car is going to need a makeover fairly soon. It was actually painted by Maaco 6 years ago, and it is starting to show some wear here and there. It will probably last another 3 or 4 summers, but when it gets re-done, I'd like to do it right. I've never attemted a Chop, so this will be my first.

Nice car, I would have expected a bit more ET out of it considering the engine. What does that thing weigh?

4500 Lbs 3.73 gear, and those Coker Wide Whites dont hook too well. The motor makes a ton of torque, so it is hard to launch. Does some killer nasty burnouts though.

  18. I would lose the outer front bumper over-riders. Lower the front end 2-3 inches. I would also add some nice wheels and tires. The front chrome around the turn signals is a little heavy looking. You might try looking for some Windsor signals{they are square} or just remove the bulky surrounds.
You can see what mine looks like on my profile pages in albums. I know, its got 2 extra doors than yours does , but hey!, its been my baby for forty years!
