anyone know if you can interchange front fenders on

1949-1951 Chevy Olds 88 & Pontiac Straight Six cylinder cars

the fit is the only thing i'm wondering about - a bolt on

i know the Olds has the parking light vent area

the application on the Olds fit would be for a custom look
    eliminating that area

some like that option, i like the Olds stock look makes it an Olds

    no.

you can't even exchange 49-50 Chevrolet with 51-52 unless you take everything but the hood.

    how about just 49 & 50 cars with 49 & 50 cars only?

if i buy the 50 Pontiac fenders on my kY trip
i want to know if i can sell them to Chevy guys etc.

the reason i'll buy them is help with gas cost

Olds fenders are about 8" longer, from the fender opening to the door.
I think certain American Pontiacs might have the same wheelbase.
What about 1948 98 Olds, the don't have the drop down.

Canadian Pontiac front fits Chevy, the others are longer wheelbase and it's all in the front end.

They won't fit the Chevy. The Pontiac six and eight cars had the same length fenders.

The only exception is Canadian Pontiac's as mentioned which are basically a Chevy with Pontiac trim.
