Help IDing Pontiac Emblem

Can anyone ID this Pontiac emblem? I believe its may be from 1939, but can't peg the vehicle. Anyone familiar with it? There is no part number on the emblem. Text on rear: Fox Company Cinti. O. U.S.A.

 

Top of the grille, either 37 or 38.

Fox made emblems for decades for the auto industry in stamped steel, stainless steel, and die cast.

 

Yeah I agree my dad has a 38 and it looks like his also.
