All the aftermarket 39 Chevy lights lens look way different... Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
yes, they do. But after 80 years, it's possible the lenses were replaced. It's also possible they are aftermarket lights. How about a few more pictures, closer up, make sure they are focused well. Show the mounting base. Also look closely for lettering stamped on the housing, such as the word GUIDE and numbers/letters.
Did you take these lenses out of the housings and check for any kind of numbers stamped into them? Pretty rare to have a lens made with no markings on it at all. At least, pictures showing the lenses would help. And measurements. You're not giving us much to work with here.
without being able to tell size, they could be 40 Chev park lites or 39 T-Lites, with a bolt added. i think they are 39s
I wish I could give more info... I sold them and wish I didn’t looking for another pair...I’m thinking 1947 Chevy parking lights maybe Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
'39 taillights mount with two 10-24 studs. '40 parking lights mount with one 5/16'' stud. Does that help ???
Agree with 302GMC, I think you can see enough here that you would see some of the flat mounting surface if they were 39's. Also 39 bezels are shaped different, they aren't round like that they have more of a "corner" between the side and back face.
