I found this tiny banjo rear axle center housing in a shed a while back and plan on using it.. Problem is i need a ring and pinion to fit inside the housing and would like to know what kind of car it is from.
attached pictures are of the small housing compaired to a model A housing.
It has a two feet long torque tube... :)

Wow, that what I call "piecing something together". Start with an obscure part you don't even know what it fits, then ask for info. Then see if you can find the other 100 parts required for the assembly. :)

    Good one... :)
Yes i`ve laughed at the same thing myself, thinking about what others might think about my post considering how it came out.
It fits nicely on the end of the gearbox i`m using and will be below my knees... The thing is i just need a ring and pinion that will work so i can make a one piece axle with a flange on it for the ring gear. So i don`t need too much original parts... thank God... :)
