Technical Help identify carburator

    This was bolted on top of a 21 stud flathead i bought. Cant find any information about it.     Pretty sure that is a Tillotson aftermarket replacement carb for flathead Fords. Very obscure piece, I've only seen a few, including one row of them on a multi carb manifold.
    If you open it up, do so carefully because you'll need the gaskets to guide making your own...
    Might be a fun project if you lack sufficient trouble in your life!

    It looks like the one that sits on the fire truck we worked a lot on.
    It's a 1935 Ford Truck 100hp with a Carter truck style carb.
    Might be for European build cars they had them

    But that thing in he front looks very odd to me. I will look for pics next time at my shop.
    Just to confirm.

    Who'd build a carb with no identification on it?
    Looks like an attempted Holley 94 clone, with some strategic changes to beat a copyright lawsuit.

    Doggone! It's still a Tillotson! Give it a few more weeeks and maybe it'll turn into something useful.
