help identify 20's-30's quarter

I recently bought some parts to an old racecar... the bobbed quarter panels have been sliced off right behind the roof section... I'm trying to figure out what they may have used for these quarters...
I ruled out Ford... the body line on the ford is wider

on the car the small part thats left is about 1/2" wide...

they just cut the back section off and then welded it to what appears to be a section from a model-A sedan roof

immediate impression was Chevy 33 to 35 for some reason.


So I tried carnut, and it looks similar but the pics are too small. maybe try google for bigger chevy pics.
