help ID this trans adapter/bellhousing

    bought this off ebay as an adapter for Y-block to early ford trans. I've never been able to get a good look at the bellhousing of a Y block so I am not sure if this is correct. The part that makes me wonder is that there is a part number on it that sounds like a Ford truck part number. Hopefully someone can help me.

    Sounds to me like it's a factory bell housing that allows the use of a '32-'48 style transmission with a '49-'53 flathead block.

    Factory ford truck 48-52 1/2-2 ton.

    49'-51' Merc. with OD tranny uses the same style bell housing.
    Your pictures are not good enough to make any hole pattern match.
