Technical Help ID This Block. . .

    I found this block hiding under the back corner of a work bench on my late father's property. I don't know what the thing is, but I'm sure you guys can figure it out. . .

    There's a number stamped on the top front of the block (the "shiny" spot) that reads D44-86088

    could be a little Dodge Hemi block.

    D44 - 1001 1953 Red Ram 241 2 140

    Thanks guys. That would explain the heads and other assorted hemi parts I found in various places around the shop. There just may be a complete engine from all the bits and goodies I've found hidden around there.
