Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by mark boltjes, Feb 12, 2012.

  1. I have had these wheels around since the mid 70s - Can any body tell me what brand they are. All it says on the back side is 15 x 10. Thanks for the Help

There were a lot of Japanese copies back then. If there are no positive brand markings I would suspect just that. That is not to say they are low quality. I have been collecting aluminum slots for years. I have found the Japanese wheels to be of the highest quality.

  6. I think it was Ansen Sprints

  8. I doubt that they are Ansen's, Ansen was pretty proud of its stuff and usually marked them.

  9. Big diff in the facing on the rims in question compared to these ..I don't remember seeing those in question around

"generic" brand? There were lots of them....you could buy them out of the Montgomery Wards catalog, for example
