I need help Iding this steering wheel. I may use it on my 34. Mounting it will be the trick.

On the back there is a date of 1957 cast into it.

    Thank Clark

that reminds me of the stock wheel in a Henry J. you sure that's a date?

that's just what popped into my head. sometimes I'm even right.

  3. It's not VW. I'd say boat. I don't see anywhere for a horn contact. I know the hub is missing, maybe the horn contact was in the hub. It doesn't look like it would be to hard to adapt to a Grant adapter.

Not sure if it's a date just assumed it was. The 1957 is in the circle to the right.

The lack of horn made me think boat also. The guy I bough it from thought VW. A grant adapter may be a little small....an adapter for the adapter ? :)

  6. Not Henry J either. I Googled Henry J steering wheel, and it's close, but not the same. Without knowing the size of the hole for the hub, it's hard to tell what it would take to put a Grant adapter into it, but I think a flat steel ring adapted to the wheel and the Grant adapter would be pretty easy to do.
