as marked , PSI made them. i think they were in Rosemead California and was run by a guy named Gene Scott. made hot rod parts 50/60/70s....i think they still be in business? i think there are some for sale in the parts right now
^^ Visited that shop two years ago with Nick the Bandit. A true time capsule. Not sure of its present status.
That is a pretty neat setup. Could be real helpful to many projects if they are still available. Seems like a lot of work in one, which could make them cost prohibitive these days.
From the 1972 PSI catalog. Gene Scott had a very inventive mind and he created many items useful to hot rodders. PSI probably started in the late '60's, and he also had a retail store, a yard full of old Fords, he marketed and produced stuff for restorers and more.
As AVater said we were there on our January trip to the Turlock Flea Market. Gene Scott is gone, but Jim Gordon, who was Gene Scott's manager still runs the place. He can be reached at 626-288-2121, or 626-288-3131. Let the phone ring quite a while, and if Jim is there he will eventually answer it. If you can go there, you will see that it is truly a time capsule. Jim
