This wheel center looks like a mid '50s Caddy but does not have the holes for the clips. Anyone know for sure?
Better pictures would help, as in pictures of more than just the center of the wheel. Also, have you checked the bolt pattern?
Like the others said ...better pics , and yes them welds ??? Here's some pics of different years of factory original equipment Cadillac steel wheels ...starting in mid 30's to 40's the first group for limo and commercial (4) then it goes from 48 to 53,54 then there's a 55,56 only ...and the others are on through the 50's ending at 59 ...the one that looks reversed...thats the way they looked through the 60's. The last group of 4 are commercial use late 50's Sent from my SM-T307U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Nor original but modified (Homemade), note holes where OEM spot welds that held centre to outer were drilled out and gap with fillet welds. Also outer appears to 2 x rims welded together, note weld. Compare to OEM style rim and how centre is an interference fit with outer.
Very observant Stumpy, this is actually a Nichels Engineering stock car wheel. And Rude, those are great photos. Thanks everyone!
Here is the deal. Reasonably certain that this is a ford truck wheel. 5 on 5. Maybe there are a couple within 100 Mi of Milwaukee?
