Help!I need 1939 Ford closed car wiper ideas

I'm finishing up my 39 Ford Tudor sedan and was looking for a cheap wiper motor/assembly. I would normally not use one (rainex), but DMV inspectors say differently.

Anyway, what have you tried?

cheap? then I would use marine wiper motors. I had to go cheap to get my 55 chevy wipers. The bad is that you have to buy 2 and you can't wire them together to work as a unit so they work independantly. The good is that they only cost me 70 bucks for both sides and I ran a toggle switch to each one . Not ideal but it worked and it was cheap

I think we used VW beetle one time , they are easy to adapt.

 

MG midget is adaptable, I think Flat Ernie had a write up on it some time back
