Hey guys, I have a 48' 346 Caddy Flatty and might have the opportunity to come up on a tranny from a '57 Coupe De Ville... I'm almost 99% positive that those came with the auto hydramatic, but what I'm not sure of is will it mate to my 346? Also, this might be a dumb question but, would I HAVE to have the column to run it or can I fab up a shifter for the auto (if that makes any sense)? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks
