I need help finding yard. There's a yard in CA that has late 30 ford trucks 38 and 39 mostly

I know its a business i know in north CA i need some parts for you 38 ford pickup project

I need the center grill strip for a 38 if any has one

There is a yard up near Willows CA that had a ton of old stuff. If you were up in Nothern CA driving on I5 that is probably the yard you saw.

Yep, that's the place. I saw it while driving down I-5 a couple of weeks ago. I didn't have time to stop by and see what they had.

 

That would be Fred Stokes and he has a bunch of cabs in his shop, but that's just about it.

 

Alot of the time, this place makes me laugh out loud.

I know the yard in which you speak, and the business is at hand. Many people will come, and many will ask for 38 grill strips, not just one...north CA is gone now, never to return as an eagle flys south proving he was once in the north...late 30 ford trucks run in packs of 38/39, trying to never be early...help find yard there my friend, yet never trust the woman seeking help from the next yard...

its actually south of willows in williams on th west side of I5. cant miss it, i slow down everytime i pass by on the highway just to drool from the car. i have never stopped but tell myself i will on the next trip down the highway. hopefully someday soon i am sure there is something in there i think i need.
the owner of the yard is a member here i remember his intro, i will try and find it. he wrote an intro shortly after i did.

 

Yeah, Big M's Auto Parts. I stopped in that yard last year while visiting my brother who lived in Williams. Great place and friendly guys. Not much truck stuff but heaven if your into 50's big fin Mopars. As cool as the yard is you got to ask to check out his warehouse across town, pack floor to cealing with old parts.

 

Yup. Big M's just off of the I5 at Williams is full of big fin Mopars. He does have a few Fords, but nothing by way of 30's Ford pickups that I recall. I would have loved to see the other yard.

 

metalman, holy cow i would love to see that wearhouse. i showed that pick to my wife and she says how do you find anything in there? my responce was who cares i just want to see it!!!!!! and drool i am sure. is the wearhouse mostly mopar also?

Yard Yard Ya know where the Part Part is. Sorry Romeo, you have to ease up slow on the old HAMB HAMB board.

 

The yard is South of town and has 40/50/60's cars and trucks, but mostly cars. A lot of 55 and 56 Chevy stuff, I got a roof for my 56 Chevy 2dr Wgn. The warehouse is North of town and that is where the owner holds up, he has a really nice 57 Fury, just like Christine; the movie.
Oh yes, the yard is pretty much busting at the seams!
