Help! Contacts & Friends Not Working

When I have the Contacts & Friends page open, I go to the bottom, type in RACEFAB and click Friend,........I get a blank
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Did I break it ?

Is there a limit on how many friends we can have?

I LOVE the new site and all of the cool gadgets.
